DPS Trooper Kevin Malone, THP Lufkin, receives an award for being a Career Law Enforcement Professional from Crime Stoppers of Lufkin.  Kevin received the award at Crime Stoppers Annual Law Enforcement Appreciation Dinner in December after being nominated for the award by his Sergeant.  Kevin has been a Trooper for over 20 years.  Longtime Lufkinites remember Kevin's dad, Howard Malone, who was a highly respected Highway Patrolman in Angelina County.
