Allen Riddle, center, owner of AR Services of Lufkin, supports Crime Stoppers and the Lufkin Police Department by donating a set of Stinger Spikes to the City.  Receiving the Spikes are Chief Larry Brazil and former Chief Sherman Collins.  Spikes are some of the police equipment that officers of the Lufkin Police Department use in the performance of their duties.  Spikes are deployed across the roadway in front of a fleeing vehicle to flatten its tires and terminate high speed pursuits in a safe manner.  Through the generosity of local business donors, Crime Stoppers has equipped units of the Lufkin, Hudson, Huntington and Zavalla Police Departments, the Angelina County Sheriff's Department and a Constable with these spike systems
